Huzzah for Huzzah!!!
Alright folks, I hope you've been doing your work on getting the word out with "grody," because I'm about to double your workload if you haven't finished that job yet.
That's right, we're bringing back HUZZAH!
Pronunciation: huh-ZAAAAAAAAH!
Use: an expression of joy, approval, happiness (much like hooray, but cooler to say)
Use it. Liberally. Already I have begun the spread in Boston, when I used it last night after I enjoyed the free performance of The Taming of the Shrew on the Boston Common.
As I said in the grody post, get on board now and use it before everyone does and you're just a bandwagon-jumper.

We used that rather often working at Plimoth Plantation, 17th century style. Over here in England, you also hear it occasionally. Good thing we don't have all the bells and whistles of Pee Wee's Playhouse to go off to announce it. That would be more in the spirit of the word.
From Mom: Huzzah! Huzzah! There is no one in my office to listen, but I *am* trying to help spread the word ... Love, Mom
Oh, I've never been to Shakespeare in the Park. But like most things it's such a huge hassle in NY. Tickets are impossible, and people literally camp out for them on the street like a homeless person. If I did that, i'd be too tired the next day to keep my eyes open during the show.
From Jayne: Thank you, Em, for this timely reminder!!! Arrggghhh!! (Just practicing).
So, uh, anything new?
From Jayne: I think the writer of this blog is simply overwhelmed with trying to do what needs doing at this point. Should we just make a newsy announcement here??? :-)
From Jayne: I could post a picture ... ????
Everybody already knows, folks. Besides, that's not something I'd necessarily "announce" on my blog - I might slip it into a story here or there but I wouldn't necessarily make a whole post about it. In the meantime, I'm working on another post. Should be up soon (I hope).
so what's up?
Is this blog dead?
If I hadn't seen you with my own eyes but a fortnight ago, I would think you may have been gathered to God...
P.S. Can you tell I've been reading an obscene amount of Austen lately?
Poor Kristy has a terrible cold! And there is not such as thing as an obscene amount of Austen! :-)
so, i've been starting to drink soy milk, mainly because I had some coupons. I really like the Vanilla soy milk, but I'm wondering about all this negative stuff I've been hearing about soy. have you read about it?

i guess in moderation is best....
just checking in! :-)
One of the ghosts uses "Huzzah" on "Ghosts"!
